Socca Canada is Going to the 2026 Socca AmeriCup in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico!
We are excited to share that Socca Canada will be competing at the 2026 Socca AmeriCup! The tournament runs from May 20 to 24, 2026 in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, and we will be there representing our country.
The games will be played at the Plaza de la Mexicanidad, which is one of the most iconic venues in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua. It is going to be a fantastic setting for international socca and we cannot wait to take the field there. This is the first time an event like this has come to Ciudad Juarez, and it is happening thanks to the hard work of Mayor Cruz Perez Cuellar's administration alongside the team at Socca AmeriCup Mexico.
The tournament will pack in 26 matches over five days, with games going from 8 in the morning all the way to 10 at night. Teams from 12 nations have already put their hands up to participate, and admission to every single match is completely free for anyone who wants to come out and watch.
The AmeriCup is organized by the Americas Socca Confederation and is the top continental socca competition in the Americas. We are coming into this one with some real momentum. Last year in Rio de Janeiro we made it all the way to the Quarter Finals, and we also showed up on the world stage at the Socca World Cup in Cancun. Every tournament we compete in makes us better, and we are hungry to show what we are made of in Juarez.
We will be sharing more information about the squad, the schedule, and the group draw as we get closer to May. Stay tuned because this is going to be a lot of fun!
Nos vemos en Juarez! 🇨🇦🇲🇽
